TAP Principal Tanya Paz, is known for her vibrant collaboration with clients and partners, as well as her careful guidance of the project vision through every phase. With a philosophy rooted in strategic execution — she carefully balances aesthetics, performance, research, and innovation within project constraints.
Understanding each client’s goals allows Tanya to translate them into beautiful spaces with grace and wit, layering different design elements with her healthy obsession for comfort and function. Through this process, holistic design solutions become steeped in context — creating authentic, memorable experiences that continue to evolve.
Tanya Paz earned her Master of Architecture from Harvard's Graduate School of Design and her Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies from Tufts University. Before founding her eponymous practice in 2019, she practiced architecture and interiors for over ten years at several renowned design-driven firms in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and Madrid.
Tanya’s diverse experience — spanning civic buildings, retail and healthcare environments, hotels, and residential design, has equipped her to work across various scales and understand the coordination and essential infrastructure required to execute her designs successfully.
Tanya is an insured design professional and is well-versed in the construction and permitting process in the Los Angeles area.
